Caught a few large males on this farm before I left, the males are certainly ready for the females. It's a crazy time of year to catch moles in all honesty, as all I do is empty traps of male moles that are getting in the way of me catching the resident female. There are better times in the year to do this job, being more efficient and taking less time than it does during the breeding season. The farm I had just finished before starting this one had 67 moles from 53 traps from 3 haylage fields, with the final trap check producing 19 moles of which 16 were big males.
