Trapping moles on the moss land of West Lancashire for the vegetable growers. Now this is a bit more time consuming than doing grass fields. The carrot beds are made up of very fine, loose soil which looks like black flour, which quickly turns into thick porridge after heavy rain, but it soon drains provided the dykes surrounding the fields are low. My quad bike track just fits with one lot of wheels in the tram lines and the other pair up on top of the carrot beds between rows 2 and 3 of the carrot seedlings.
